Springbank Hazelburn 15 Year Old Oloroso Cask 2023 Release

Hazelburn range takes its name from one of Campbeltown’s lost distilleries and was first produced at Springbank Distillery in 1997. Making full use of all three stills, this range is triple distilled and unpeated resulting in a spirit that is creamy, delicate and light.
Part of the Hazelburn core range, this is a 15 Year Old bottling of Hazelburn Single Malt matured in fresh and refill Oloroso sherry casks. Distilled in June 2008 and bottled in September 2023.

    Nose:   Sweetened strawberry compote, cranberries, toffee fudge, roasted oak chips, leather, tobacco, black pepper, nuts, dirty warehouse.

    Taste:    Red fruits, honey, nut latte macchiato, leather, oak chips, caramel, chocolate, toffee pudding.

    Finish:    Medium, slightly spicy, chocolate, coffee, nuts, a bit of tobacco.
