Springbank 15 Year Old Single Malt Whisky

Springbank distillery is located in Campbeltown, a picturesque Scottish town situated at the southern end of the Kintyre Peninsula on the glorious west coast.
The first reference to Campbeltown whisky is recorded in writing in 1591. Springbank was established in 1828 on the site of Archibald Mitchell’s illicit still, becoming the 14th licensed distillery in Campbeltown. Today, Springbank is one of only three distilleries operating in the Campbeltown area and is the oldest independent family-owned distillery in Scotland.

Matured in ex Sherry casks, the 15 year old from Springbank delivers plenty of sherry notes and spice, dried fruits and nuts.

    Nose:    Dried fruits, raisins, toffee, fine leathery notes.

    Taste:    Punchy, oily, some liquorice, more dried fruits, hints of acacia honey, subtle sweetness, fine leathery notes.

    Finish:    Medium long, warm, spicy, toffee, leathery.
