Macallan The Harmony Collection / Vibrant Oak

Vibrant Oak is part of the fourth release in an annual series from Macallan titled The Harmony Collection, which focuses on their own area of expertise and mastery which is represented by oak. This release of the Harmony Collection, Vibrant Oak and Guardian Oak, is a unique collaboration with Cirque du Soleil celebrating 200 years of The Macallan. Cirque du Soleil's world-renowned circus shows inspire change through creativity and art. In perfect harmony, The Macallan and Cirque du Soleil combine their crafts to present this enchanting Collection.
Vibrant Oak is matured in a combination of first fill sherry seasoned American oak casks and refill sherry casks. The name Vibrant Oak and the gold colour evoke a sense of energy and liveliness. The beautiful illustration features a human figure – Ayla - intricately intertwined within the branches of an American oak tree. This design emphasises the importance of the connection between the natural world and human experience. It conveys the life and wonder that bloom when humans are “In Harmony with nature.”

    Nose:     Intense vanilla bean accompanied by sweet sherbet and lime zest gives way to fragrant pears nestled in delicate vanilla sponge cake.

    Taste:    Creamy vanilla panna cotta, buttery shortbread, lightly toasted coconut with almond brittle, apple and sweet oak.

    Finish:    Medium, sweet with lingering vanilla.
