Macallan The Harmony Collection / Green Meadow

Green Meadow is part of the third release in an annual series from Macallan titled The Harmony Collection. The project is spearheaded by the distilleries efforts to focus on sustainability.
Green Meadow is a collaboration between Macallan Whisky Mastery Team and Stella and Mary McCartney, celebrating the shared values of love and respect for the natural world at the forefront. They have taken inspiration from natural Scottish grasslands, reminiscent of wild meadows, with a vibrant, primrose scented finish. The whisky has been matured in a combination of sherry seasoned oak and bourbon casks.
By focusing on sustainable packaging and in homage to its chocolate influence, Green Meadow was presented in a 100% recyclable and biodegradable box which marks this deep connection with the land, discarded meadow cuttings have been given new life in this presentation box and bottle labels. Each individual presentation box features photography by Mary McCartney of The Macallan Estate.

    Nose:     Fresh orange and lemon, wild primrose, petrichor, honeydew melon, bluebells.

    Taste:    Rich lemon, barley sugars, creamy vanilla, almonds, fresh oak.

    Finish:    Sweet, fragrant, long and creamy.
