Macallan The Harmony Collection / Amber Meadow

Amber Meadow is part of the third release in an annual series from Macallan titled The Harmony Collection. The project is spearheaded by the distilleries efforts to focus on sustainability.
Amber Meadow is a collaboration between Macallan Whisky Mastery Team and Stella and Mary McCartney, celebrating the shared values of love and respect for the natural world at the forefront. They have taken inspiration from natural Scottish grasslands to create this distinctive expression, redolent of warm meadows and mature barley fields. The whisky has been matured in a combination of sherry seasoned oak and bourbon casks.
By focusing on sustainable packaging and in homage to its chocolate influence, Amber Meadow was presented in a 100% recyclable and biodegradable box which marks this deep connection with the land, discarded meadow cuttings have been given new life in this presentation box and bottle labels. Each individual presentation box features photography by Mary McCartney of The Macallan Estate.

    Nose:     Rich orange and lemon, honeysuckle, vanilla, coconut and ripe barley fields.

    Taste:    Rich oak, lemon, melon, classic scone, almond and green tea.

    Finish:    Rich, sweet, long and complex.
