Highland Park Keystones Series Part Three Quercus 2017 Release

Highland Park Keystone Series is a collection of special bottlings that highlight the five Keystones of production in the making of Highland Park. The series has 5 releases: Hobbister, Shiel, Quercus, Yesnaby and Hillhead.
Part three of the Keystones Series, Highland Park Quercus is a Limited Edition of only 1200 bottles.
Quercus was named after the species of oak used by the distillery to make their casks, which are sent to Jerez to mature sherry for around 2 years before returning to Orkney. Exclusively matured in first-fill sherry seasoned European oak casks.

    Nose:    Rich spices, dried fruit, light smoke and cedar wood.

    Taste:    Cinnamon bark, orange peel, cocoa and toasted wood.

    Finish:    Lingering spiciness.
