Glenmorangie The Tarlogan Legends Collection Single Malt Whisky

The Tarlogan is part of the Glenmorangie’s Legend Collection, alongside with The Duthac, The Tayne and The Cadboll. Each expression of the Legend Collection has been carefully crafted in honour of a Highland legend.
The Tarlogan is the third release of the collection and it was named after the Tarlogie Spring, which rises somewhat hidden in a clearing hidden by pine trees and it is the Glenmorangie distillery water source since 1843. It has been matured in a combination of ex-bourbon casks and virgin oak casks.

    Nose:    Floral note reminiscent of roses, vanilla, coconut, apricots, ripe banana and a touch of honey.

    Taste:    Mild and creamy on the tongue with some peach. Then slowly spicier with pepper, vanilla, coconut and caramel.

    Finish:    In the finish, the rose aroma comes back with the apricots. Some honey and spices remain on the palate for a medium length.
