Glenfiddich 19 Year Old Age of Discovery Bourbon, Madeira and Red Wine Cask Finish

In the summer of 1886, with his seven sons and two daughters by his side, William Grant set out to fulfil a lifelong ambition. Together they began building his Distillery by hand, stone by stone. After a single year of work, it was ready and William named it Glenfiddich, Gaelic for Valley of the Deer.
William’s passion, determination and pioneering spirit continues to guide us today. Glenfiddich is one of the few single malt distilleries to remain entirely family owned and is now the World's Most Awarded Single Malt Scotch Whisky, a true reflection of our founder’s innovative nature, passed down through the generations
.

Glenfiddich’s Age of Discovery Collection consists of three 19 Year Old Single Malts that each matured in a different cask inspired by some of the extraordinary journeys around the world. This unique set contains three 200ml bottles. Madeira Cask Finish is inspired by the Portuguese explorers that discovered the islands Porto Santo and Madeira in the 15th century. Bourbon Cask Reserve, Glenfiddich’s first expression to be fully matured in bourbon casks, pays homage to the ships that travelled over the Great American Rivers to transport bourbon towards New Orleans. Red Wine Cask Finish commemorates Charles Darwin’s 1831 voyage to South America and was finished in oak casks that previously held South American wine.
