Código 1530 Reposado Tequila

Código 1530 Reposado derives its bright, natural sweetness from Blue Weber agave that’s harvested at peak ripeness. The Reposado is then carefully rested for six months in French White Oak Napa Valley Cabernet wine barrels. The resting process fosters some of the warm, smoky undertones often found in whiskey, like vanilla, oak, and caramel.

    Nose:    Oak, caramel.

    Taste:    Agave, vanilla, pepper.

    Finish:   Smooth, balanced.

For several generations, a local Amatitán artisan and distilling family passionately produced this spirit old codes and customs “Los Códigos”, to make an award winning and ultra-premium sipping tequilas.
In Amatitán, every drop of Código 1530’s offerings: Blanco, Rosa, Reposado, Añejo, and Origen have been perfected over generations. Their process embraces time-honored customs without veering from the traditions of the Los Bajos region, its tequileros, and its jimadors. Código tequila begins with fully matured agave, which is cooked in stainless steel ovens, fermented with yeast, and distilled twice in handmade stills.
