Chivas Royal Salute 21 Year Old Year Of The Dragon 2024

Royal Salute was created in 1953 to mark the coronation of her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The name of this exceptional Scotch Whisky comes from the 21 Gun Royal Salute, which is fired from the Tower of London for royal celebrations.
The blend is the result of a selection of rare and exceptional Scotch whiskies, matured for a minimum of 21 years.
Part of the Chinese Lunar New Year Special Editions, this is the Year of the Dragon 2024 release. The artwork for this release was created created by Chinese-born artist Yunshu Li. The illustration on the packaging features vibrant flowers, as well as traditional Chinese symbols such as lucky knotwork to bring prosperity, health, and happiness to those fortunate enough to drink it, as well as a dragon.

Nose:    Fruity notes are balanced wonderfully by aromas of sweet vanilla, summer meadows, lavender, oak, and a hint of sherry, with a very faint bonfire smoke.

Taste:    Notes of caramel, hazelnuts, winter spices, sticky marmalade, stewed pears, and a hint of citrus zest, slightly floral notes and a very slight murmur of peaty smoke.

Finish:   Long, smooth, sweet and fruity.
