Bunnahabhain 12 Year Old Small Batch Distilled Single Malt Whisky

The 12 Year Old Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky was the beginning of Bunnahabhain’s core range, a robust expression with an alluring balance of sweet fruit, nuts, vanilla and a delicate coastal influence.
This Small Batch Distilled Single Malt won Gold Medal at The International Spirits Challenge in 2024.

Nose:    Fresh and aromatic, fruity and floral with hints of dried fruit.

Taste:    Light with fruit notes, nutty flavours with a sweetness and slight hints of vanilla and caramel.

Finish:    Long and lingering, rich, full-bodied and a hint of sea salt.

Pronounced 'Bunn-na-ha-venn', meaning 'mouth of the river' in Scots Gaelic, our distillery is the most remote on Islay, nestled in Bunnahabhain Bay on the shores of the Sound of Islay. Bunnahabhain was built in 1881 by the Greenless Brothers and is still the most northern Distillery on the Isle of Islay.
Known for its unpeated whiskies, it stands out in a region famous for heavily peated malts. Renowned for its exceptional craftsmanship and sherried character, Bunnahabhain distillery bottling range has many Whiskies ranging from the 12 Year Old to the 40 Year Old.
