Bruichladdich 22 Year Old 1992 Micro Provenance Single Cask 009

Part of the Micro Provenance series from Bruichladdich, this is the 22 Year Old Pomerol Wine Single Cask #009. It was distilled in 1992, aged for 22 years in a single Quercus Robur cask which previously held French Pomerol wine and bottled in 2015.
Only 296 bottles released.
The Micro Provenance series is unique to Bruichladdich and is conceived as an exploration into cask evolution, each individually picked by master distiller Jim McEwan to explore the fine nuances of the Bruichladdich whisky and the effects of warehousing, oak, cask and micro-climate on maturing spirit.
