Ardmore 12 Year Old Port Wood Finish Single Malt Whisky

This 12 Year Old Single Malt from Ardmore was initially matured in American white oak bourbon casks before being transferred over to Port pipes for a finishing period. Its time in the Port pipes has imparted wine-like sweetness to the whisky.

    Nose:    Aromatic and light charcoal smoke, fruity berries, delicate sweetness, somewhat floral.

    Taste:    Mild smoke, tart spices, oak, fruity and sweet berries.

    Finish:    Cold smoke with sweet fruit notes and oak spice lingers for a while.
